You’ve got to see this!

Lisa Hoffman and her staff from Ceci New York are offering full service in couture invitation and stationery design for weddings and events. Their quality and style is outrageously phenomenal!

Critsey Rowe, David Lee and I met Lisa today and we were blown away by her presentation of Ceci’s work. They characterize it as “downtown style meets classic elegance” but only seeing the actual samples can do their work justice and it made it clear: Ceci is top notch!

Ok, I had to post this one first! GG-Images color!

New York: David Tutera

Saturday, March 29th, 2008

Critsey Rowe and David Lee today went to photograph a portrait session with David Tutera.

David Tutera is the event planner extraordinaire, he is being titled “The Prince of Style”.

He hosts two TV shows, get married and Party Planner, he owns the floral and gift boutique stem, is the writer of numerous books and has teamed up with Disney for Disney’s Couture Wedding Collection.

And the list goes on and on …

Critsey and David Lee did a stunning job, the pictures they showed me were beyond impressive. Check out Critsey’s blog to see some .

New York: Kelly & Tom, E-Session

Saturday, March 29th, 2008

The next task in Manhattan was an engagement session that Critsey had scheduled. I photographed it with her, and we met Kelly and Tom at DUMBO in Brooklyn.

Kelly is an artist and Tom is in IT. It was so nice to watch and photograph this cute couple!

Right when we arrived there was this amazing willow tree lit by the sun …

I recommend a visit at Critsey’s blog to again see the different perspectives that two photographers get.

New York: Day After Session with Chris & Otakar

Friday, March 28th, 2008

Chris and Otakar are an eye catching couple, they got married last year in Texas, and now it was time for a Day After session in Manhattan.

A Day After session is pictures taken some time after the actual wedding. The couple wears their wedding attire and now has time to go to great locations and take wonderful photos.

Critsey Rowe, Dave Lee and I photographed this Day After session on a cold and windy evening in New York’s West Village, but Chris and Otakar couldn’t care less for the temperature – they were all in for great photos!

It is amazing how three photographers get so different images from the same setting! Take a look at Critsey’s and David’s blogs to see their interpretations.

Aleta & Chris – Airport E-Session

Tuesday, March 25th, 2008

I love the stories of how couples got together! For Aleta and Chris it was a missed plane on a business trip that gave them time to get to know each other …
An airport parking deck (and a light rail train) thus were the perfect locations for their engagement session that Critsey Rowe and I shot together. Again, two photographers’ views on a theme provided stunning perspectives.

Aleta and Chris were up for anything, even though it was a cold and rainy day. They are so much in love and such natural posers!
