Katie & Daniel – Fall Colors at Biltmore Estate
The weather report for Saturday was bad. “Partly rainy, cool.” I kept looking at the weather report every day that week, hoping for a miracle. And I guess Katie and Daniel did the same. The night before, it drizzled in Asheville.
Then, on the wedding day we were greeted by a crystal clear, deep blue sky. The miracle has happened! It was a gorgeous day beyond words and the fall foliage was a burst of colors.
We started out at the Inn on Biltmore Estate where Katie and Daniel had decided to see each other for the first time. The terrace overseeing the estate was a beautiful scenery. Next we went off for photos—the bridal party were a blast!
The ceremony at the Lioncrest’s veranda was very touching—the side covers were opened bringing the bright orange trees in as a wonderful background. The Lioncrest’s 2nd floor is a gorgeous room with a great ambiance. Perfect for the reception.
We ended as we started: more pictures, this time during the couple’s romantic cart ride around the estate. What a wonderful way to take in this outstanding scenery!

While this day was certainly cold and the wind blustery, your pictures captured the true warmth and beauty of the day. Great job !! Daniels Mother

I’ve been searching for a photographer to cover my brother’s wedding this week and I have seen literally over a thousand pictures depicting different styles. What I like about what your pictures is that the emotions and actions really shined throughout the set. I liked the shot w/ the groomsmen jumping from the fountain because it showed comradely with the groom’s mates. On the other hand, seeing the bride’s maids surrounding the bride with cheerful smiles gave the event from their perspective. The last shot especially w/ the groom being as ecstatic and happy as he will ever be while the bride’s looking @ the camera with that solemn look of contentment really shows the contrast in the special day from each person’s perspective. I loved the pictures: Well done and congratulations on the nuptials.
